There seems to be a lot of Demand for people wanting to make there own Snuggie patterns. We have put this together to show you just how you can make your Own snuggie pattern.

Get 1 or 2 blankets (based on the size of the person - you will need the right amount of fabric) To make the Snuggie pattern.

You don’t want your snuggie to drag on the floor, most people dont at least. So start by Getting measurements from shoulder level to the ground. We can say that’s about four feet, or 48 inches. Then measure their arm span - fingers to fingers with arms stretched Out. On average for a person that height should be about 4 feet 6 inches, or 54″.

A twin size cover or blanket would work good for this, they are often 66×90 inches. If you fold it in half along the long side, you can have a double layer of blanket that is 66 inches wide by 45 inches tall (not exactly 48, but pretty close in this case. A taller person might require two blankets; if you have to do it like that, then sew the two blankets or covers together using their top edges to get a very long rectangle)
