Snuggie its everywhere all over the internet all over the tv (infomercials) I even saw one at a friends house and had to ask myself whats so special about it. My friend actually received his snuggie for a Christmas gift from his mother. He was telling me that she got the whole family one cause they have a buy one get one free special.

The snuggie actually has lots of benefits, to me the biggest benefit would be the comfort of staying warm without having my heat blasting and still being able to do my normal activities like texting, and surfing the web. A normal blanket is always getting in the way or knocking something over whenever i get up.

Some people Call the Snuggie a Blanket with sleeves while others think of it as more of a snuggie fleece throw. Lets just call it the snuggie fleece throw Blanket just for the sake of getting along for now :).

I’ve Heard several Good reviews so far for the snuggie fleece throw Blanket since I’ve started Blogging about it. Every thing from A lower heat bill to being able to stay wrapped up while drinking a cup of coffee in the mourning. There seems to be a lot of Demand for people wanting to make there own Snuggie patterns. We have put this together to show you just how you can make your Own snuggie pattern.

Get 1 or 2 blankets (based on the size of the person - you will need the right amount of fabric) To make the Snuggie pattern.

You don’t want your snuggie to drag on the floor, most people dont at least. So start by Getting measurements from shoulder level to the ground. We can say that’s about four feet, or 48 inches. Then measure their arm span - fingers to fingers with arms stretched Out. On average for a person that height should be about 4 feet 6 inches, or 54″.

A twin size cover or blanket would work good for this, they are often 66×90 inches. If you fold it in half along the long side, you can have a double layer of blanket that is 66 inches wide by 45 inches tall (not exactly 48, but pretty close in this case. A taller person might require two blankets; if you have to do it like that, then sew the two blankets or covers together using their top edges to get a very long rectangle)
